This story is an original idea by my cousin, Hannah, and I that has been an ongoing project since about the eighth grade.  While most of the characters and scenarios have evolved to match our own knowledge and increased education, it is still the longest running project I have ever worked on, and really what got me started into illustration and story-writing.  We hope one day to publish this story (still affectionately referred to as "The Story", in spite of any potential ambiguity) as a two to three book series.  Book One is tentatively titled The Fugitive Queen.  Each piece is accompanied by the excerpt that the visuals are drawn from.
