
Studio Work
Some of my more conceptual work, while I was finding my feet in illustration. All of these pieces draw their content from specific songs and playlists that struck powerful chords with me. I still find most of my inspiration from music, which is why I feel these pieces are integral to how I work now.

She could feel the emptiness consuming her. She would smile, put on a façade, play the game. But no matter what the coldness never left her. This loneliness, this clawing silence of hollowness screamed every day to be filled.

He was a mystery and a half. She was a loose cannon. They never sought to be together, sometimes even tried to avoid it. However they found themselves drawn to each other for reasons they could neither explain or understand.

She had given him everything. Done all that he asked, no questions asked, no hesitations. It turned out to be a lie. Her entire reason for being had been a fantasy. There was only one thing left for her now: revenge.

Everything about him was gentlemanly, charismatic, flawless. But she could see through all that and knew what he really was: a predator; calculating, precise, and deadly. In spite of this, she let him draw her into his game, determined to turn the hunter into the hunted.

She didn’t know him, but she felt a kindred spirit. A survivor, a fighter. No matter what she had been through, what was coming in the future, she knew with him there was nothing that could stand in her way. Nothing could hold her down.

It took time to see him smile, but when he did, it was worth the wait. Every moment in his presence was exhilarating. It didn’t matter that they couldn’t be together, what did was that they were here now. And now was going to last forever.
